Bradford Pitches Seven Strong Innings
Rangers Drop Third Straight
Cody Bradford pitched seven strong innings, but the Rangers dropped their third straight game, 5-3, to the Astros on Tuesday night at Globe Life Field.
Bradford allowed three runs on six hits and two walks, while striking out eight batters.
The Rangers offense struggled to generate much against Astros starter Cristian Javier, who allowed just one run on four hits and two walks over six innings of work.
- Bradford's eight strikeouts were a season-high.
- Javier lowered his ERA to 2.55 with his outing.
- The Rangers have now lost three straight games and are 12-14 on the season.
The Rangers will look to avoid a four-game sweep when they face the Astros again on Wednesday night.
