Voyager Status

NASA’s interstellar explorer Voyager 1 is finally communicating with ground control in an understandable way again.

For the first time since November, NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft is returning usable data about the health and status of its onboard engineering.

This is a real-time indicator of Voyager 1’s distance from Earth in astronomical units (AU) and either miles (mi) or kilometers (km).

The adventurer’s current mission, the Voyager Interstellar Mission (VIM), will explore the outermost edge of the Sun’s domain.
